About Lung Cancer Europe
The Access to Treatment Atlas is an initiative of Lung Cancer Europe, the voice of people affected by or at risk of lung cancer across Europe.
Our mission is to empower our members to deliver strong and effective lung cancer patient advocacy across Europe. We work with patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers and industry partners to reduce the stigma associated with lung cancer and improve outcomes and quality of life for everyone affected by the disease.

Who is the Access to Treatment Atlas for?
The Access to Treatment Atlas was developed primarily to support patient advocates, particularly Lung Cancer Europe members, by providing accessible information on lung cancer treatment access across Europe.
The Atlas may also be useful for healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, journalists and anyone interested in understanding access to lung cancer treatments, biomarker testing, reimbursement and the wider European lung cancer landscape.
How often is the Atlas updated?
The information presented in the Atlas reflects the situation at a specific point in time. Lung Cancer Europe works closely with pharmaceutical companies, marketing authorisation holders, member organisations and other stakeholders to keep the information as accurate and up to date as possible. However, as treatment approvals and reimbursement decisions can change frequently, some information may occasionally become outdated.

Can the Access to Treatment Atlas be used in clinical decision making?
The Atlas provides information on treatment options and access levels but is not intended to provide medical advice or to recommend specific treatments.

Where does the information come from?
The Atlas brings together information from publicly available sources, national authorities, pharmaceutical companies, Lung Cancer Europe member organisations and other trusted contributors. All submitted updates are reviewed before being incorporated into the platform.
Can I contribute to the Atlas?
Yes. The Atlas is designed to evolve alongside the lung cancer community.
If you know of a treatment, reimbursement update or resource that is missing from the platform, you can submit it through the Contribute to the Atlas form. Every submission is reviewed before any changes are made to ensure the information remains accurate and reliable.
